Jade is Jennie-Lynn Hayden.
Jennie-Lynn is the daughter
of the original Green Lantern
Alan Scott and Rose Forrest,
the original Thorn. After
faking her death, Rose put
Jennie-Lynn and her twin
brother Todd up for
adoption. Jennie was
adopted by Julian and Myrna
Hayden. Her pulse powers
manifested themselves by
her teen-age years. Jennie
also had a strong telepathic
link with her brother Todd
who had been adopted by
the Rice family in Milwaukee.
This telepathic link led to a
reunion with Todd.

Jennie and Todd were very curious about who their real parents were. They both had a strong suspicion
who their father was, because of the similar nature of Jen's power with Alan Scott, the Green Lantern. Later
Jennie and Todd joined Infinity Inc., a group of heroes that were related to Justice Society of America
members. During the time of this affilation, it was discovered that they indeed were children of Alan Scott
and Rose Forrest, the Thorn. Their mother who suffered from a split personality, committed suicide in order
to stop her Thorn persona from killing her children.

Jennie also enjoys a very close relationship with Molly Mayne-Scott, her step-mother,who was also the
former Harlequin, her father's best known nemesis.

While a member of Infinty Inc., Jen had a relationship with Henry King Jr. (Brainwave Jr.), the son of the JSA
villain Brainwave. Jennie lost her power pulse in an encounter with the StarHeart, the mystical entity from
which her father gained his powers. She now enjoys a relationship with Kyle Rainer(Green Lanter). Kyle
gave Jen a Green Lantern power ring which had been in the possesion of Batman, giving her the powers of
a Green Lantern.
